INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy (“policy”) applies to your use of all of the websites and services owned, hosted, or operated by Soulful Services, LLC (collectively “we,” “us,” “our”, “company”, or “Mariposa Strategies”), including mariposastrategies.com, claritypages.com, thisbeloved.com and any other website that we may own or operate in the future, including social media sites (collectively, the “sites”). Unless otherwise stated, all references to the sites in this policy include all such sites. This policy does not apply to your use of unaffiliated websites to which any of the sites may link to or direct you to.

This policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from our sites.

PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY

This policy was developed to give you confidence as you visit our sites, and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices. When you engage with our sites, you are trusting us with your information. It’s a big responsibility and hard work to keep your information safe, and we don’t take it lightly. Please know that we will never sell or rent your personal information.

We respect your privacy and want you to understand how our company collects, uses, and shares data about you. By providing your email or any personal information with or without making a purchase, you agree to all the terms of this policy. If you do not agree with this policy or any other agreement that governs your use of our sites, you should not use any of our sites or purchase any of our services or products.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This policy reflects the entire agreement between our company and users of our sites and reflects a complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter. These terms supersede all prior written and oral representations.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

You are not required to provide personal information to use and enjoy our sites.

  • Personal Information: When you sign up for our newsletters, information that you provide is collected, including your name, email address, birth date and zip code. We store your personal information in our customer relationship management software, Keap.  

  • Purchase Information: When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through our sites, information that you provide is collected, including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address and phone number. We do not store your credit card data on our servers. Credit card payments are processed through credit card payment processing company, Stripe.

When you visit our sites, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, and time zone. We automatically collect data using the following technologies:

  • Cookies: Cookies are small pieces of data collected and stored on your computer about the individual websites, web pages and/or products that you view. Cookies can improve your browsing experience because they help websites remember preferences and understand how people use different features. Cookies teach us about the websites or search terms that referred you to our sites, areas of our sites that are useful to you, and where we might need to make improvements.

  • Pixels: Pixels are tracking tools that help us understand the effectiveness of our advertising. We also use pixels from third party social sites and programs including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies and to delete cookies. Blocking all cookies will have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites. If you block cookies, you may not be able to use all the features on our sites.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

When you provide personal and purchase information to us or visit our sites, we use the information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside our company other than as necessary to fulfil your request (e.g., to process and ship an order).

We will use your information in an ongoing nature to deliver relevant future content via our newsletters and social media, and to track use of our sites. By providing us with your information, you are granting us the right to contact you at our discretion and in perpetuity via our newsletters or social media in order to deliver ongoing personal development services and products. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the footer of every email we send or by contacting us directly.

Other ways we will and will not use your information:

  • We will not share your personally identifiable information with any third party other than to process your payment information, arrange for shipping and provide you with invoices and/or order information.

  • We will contact you via email to share news about new products, services and specials.

  • We use anonymous information to analyze site traffic, including anonymized IP addresses to diagnose problems with our server, administer our sites, and/or to display content according to your preferences.

  • We use information obtained from cookies to analyze your use of our sites and to make appropriate changes.

  • We retain personal information and/or purchase information you provide unless you request the information to be deleted.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will never sell, but do share your personal information and purchase information with third parties, as described above. For example, we use Shopify to power our online store, Stripe to process credit card payment for our services, Keap to power our customer relationship management software, and Google Analytics to understand how customers use our sites. You can opt-out of Google Analytics here.

We may also share information we have on record for you in order to comply with applicable laws or any lawful requests for information our company may receive, or to protect and defend our rights or property or the users of our sites; or to act under exigent circumstances to protect the safety of the public or users of our sites.

TESTIMONIALS

If the you elect to provide a written or verbal testimonial for our services, products or workshops, and/or a photograph of yourself, (collectively, your “testimonial”), your name and/or photograph may be shared publicly on our sites and/or in or on our products and/or within our training materials shared in workshops or at public events.

If at anytime you would like your testimonial removed from our sites or training materials, you should contact us directly and reasonable efforts, in good faith, will be taken to remove said testimonial as soon as possible.

If you request that your testimonial be removed from our products, reasonable efforts will be made to remove said testimonial from any and all future production of said products, but removal from products that are already in existence and/or circulation will not be possible.

We reserve the right to modify, shorten, add clarifying language, or delete your testimonial at any time from our sites, products and/or materials, and we make no guarantee of notification to you before or after taking any of these actions.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may opt-out of future communication from us by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email you receive from us or by contacting us directly.

You are free to request any of the following information, at a minimum:

  • Review the data we have about you, if any;

  • Change/correct any data we have about you, if any;

  • Delete any data we have about you, if any; or

  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we maintain about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.

If you would like to exercise any of your rights as stated above, please contact us through one of the methods at the top of this page. We take requests seriously and will comply with your request to the extent required by law in as timely a manner as possible, which may not be immediately.

SPONSORS AND ADVERTISERS

We may decide to accept sponsorship and advertisements on our sites in the future. Should this occur, you should assume our sponsors and advertisers will be given access to the website data related to clicks on their marketing pieces. Your personally identifiable information will never be revealed to them by us.

Our sites may contain links to other websites that our customers might find useful. These websites may request information from you when you arrive. In such instances, the collection and use of your personal information will be governed by the privacy policy applicable to that website. We do not control the privacy policies, contents or links that appear on these websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party sites or services before providing any of them with your personal information.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF DATA

Our sites are controlled from an office in the United States of America. We do not represent that materials on the sites are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Persons who choose to access the sites from other locations do so on their own initiative, and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

Transfers to European countries will be protected by appropriate safeguards, namely the use of standard data protection clauses adopted or approved by the European Commission, a copy of which can be obtained here.

MINOR CHILDREN

Our sites are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly provide services or collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 and we request that they not engage in our services or provide us with their information.

EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY

While we are committed to keeping your information secure and private, we have the following exceptions to this policy:

  • We will release specific information about you or your account to comply with any valid legal inquiry or process such as a search warrant, subpoena, or court order;

  • We will release specific information in special cases, such as if there is an attempted breach of the security of our sites;

  • We may transfer personally identifiable information in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, the sale of related assets or corporate division or other fundamental corporate change;

  • The information you enter when making a purchase will be shared with payment processors, financial gateways, and your credit card company to authorize credit card payments. Such information may also be shared with necessary third parties solely for the purpose of carrying out the transaction.

When you provide personal information online through a discussion board or posting site, information can be collected and used by third parties. Although we strive to protect our users’ privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of information you post in these forums. You disclose such information at your own risk.

APPLICABLE LAW

This policy will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity that arises out of or relates to these terms will be subject to mediation in the State of New Mexico.

By using our sites and submitting any information to us, you agree to this policy without exception and agree to waive liability and not hold us liable for any use of your information, in perpetuity, under any circumstances, including waiving your right to participate or initiate any class action complaints.
